Remember when BHC Chicken first opened in Singapore, much to the excitement of fried chicken lovers all around the island?

Easties will no longer need to brave the queues at Marina Square as the beloved Korean fried chicken chain has finally opened its second outlet in Paya Lebar

That’s right — you can head down to KINEX for your fix of the chain’s signature fried chicken. Do note that it is located inside Eccellente by HAO mart, so you can expect to dine in the supermarket.

The menu is pretty much the same, featuring eight different flavours of chicken, including the iconic Bburinkle Chicken (S$31.90 for whole, S$28.90 for wings, S$29.90 for boneless thigh), crispy and juicy fried chicken coated in a sweet-savoury cheese and vegetable flavoured seasoning.

There’s also a spicy version — the Hot Bburinkle (S$31.90) — alongside other popular flavours like Chi-Pongdang (S$31.90), Gold King (S$31.90), and Macho King (S$31.90 for whole, S$28.90 for wings, S$29.90 for boneless thigh)

One of my favourites has got to be the Hot Retro (S$29.90 for whole, S$26.90 for wings, S$27.90 for boneless thigh), a mildly spicy classic flavoured fried chicken.

When it comes to the sides, there’s nothing I love more than the chewy mochi-like Bburing Cheese Balls (S$7.90), which pull apart to reveal a gooey cheese centre. Those who cannot get enough of the cheesy bburing powder will also enjoy the Bburing Corndog (S$6.90), Bburing Fries (S$7.90), Bburing Cheese Sticks (S$6.90), and Bburing Sotteok (S$8.90).

If that’s not enough, take your pick from mains like Rose Tteokbokki (S$14.90), Pork Kimchi Stew (S$16.90), and Spicy Rabokki (S$12.90). You can even find less indulgent options like Fish Congee (S$12.90) and Samgyetang (S$22.90) to balance out all that fried chicken.

If you’re dining in a larger group, we recommend opting for one of the BHC Platters (from S$43.90), comprising a whole chicken, mains and/or sides, and soft drinks.

Will you be heading to BHC Chicken at KINEX for your chimaek fix anytime soon? I know I will.
