Indulge in this Moroccan-themed high tea set for a dreamy afternoon for two

by Vera

It’s been a hot minute, but we’re back with your favourite content which may or may not include high tea sets and ‘gram-worthy cafes. Here’s one that marries both — the La Sultana High Tea Set features a tiered indulgence at La Fez, a Moroccan-themed, all-pink cafe along East Coast.

Good for two, the La Sultana High Tea Set (S$45.90) is balanced with both sweet and savoury bites for you to pinch at over a long-overdue catch up with Jen from secondary school. There are six sweet and three savoury items on the high tea menu, including the likes of a mouth-watering Khubtz Beef Brioche and Tashelhit Salmon Brioche.

The high tea set is served from 2pm to 5pm daily, with a requirement of reservation of at least 24 hours in advance.

With the cafe doused in pink and gold hues, you can also expect your food to be served on a regal platter — carefully adorned and presented on a gold-accented tower. While you’re here, it may also be a good time to try your hand at the La Fez Moroccan Mint Tea (S$12.90) or the unique Nous Nous Coffee (S$4.90), which comes served Moroccan-style — half espresso, half milk.

As you might’ve already seen from those TikToks or Instagram stories you’ve been scrolling through, La Fez is not only a hot spot for good grub, but also for plenty of photo opportunities. Drink in its ultra-pink space that’s lined with ceramics and stoneware that’ll have you fawning over for days on end.
