It seems like almost everyone went crazy when McDonald’s first launched its collaboration with BT21 on 27 April 2023. The spicy Jjang Jjang! burgers — available in both chicken and kimchi beef variations — made a triumphant comeback, wrapped in special packaging featuring Koya, RJ, Shooky, Chimmy, TaTa, Cooky, and Van.
They were joined by the Lychee Oolong Frappé, as well as the ever-so-popular Crisscut® Fries, making for a complete meal fit for adoring BT21 fans.
A special surprise in the form of a limited-edition BT21 ceramic set, consisting of a bowl, plate, and mug decorated with the iconic characters, was then released a week later.
And now, the fast food chain has taken the BT21 hype even further by launching a themed photobooth. Yes, a super exclusive McDonald’s BT21 photobooth.
Photobooths have become synonymous with Korean culture, and we Singaporeans can’t get enough of ’em either! So this is very fitting, given how many of us love capturing memories with our best buds.
Although previously available at the zen Japanese-inspired outlet in Queensway, this McDonald’s BT21 photobooth will make another appearance at McDonald’s Marine Cove on 20 and 21 May 2023, from 12pm to 8pm.
You’ll be able to get your hands on photo strips in the signature purple shade BTS has become associated with, adorned with BT21 characters and the Jjang! Jjang! burgers (so you can tell your partner how much of a snack they are?).
All you need to do is simply buy a Jjang! Jjang! Burger Meal. Otherwise, you can redeem a chance at the photobooth with your MyM Rewards Points — do note that T&Cs apply.
