Ash Ketchum has finally become a Pokémon Champion, Pokémon Scarlet & Violet has made its long-awaited debut, and it’s finally time to celebrate at this exciting Pokémon Christmas pop-up.
With meet-and-greets, and more fun Pokémon-themed activities happening across Jurong Point, AMK Hub, and Swing by @ Thomson Plaza, you can participate in the festive fun from now till 25 December 2022!
If you’ve been hooked on Scarlet & Violet on release weekend, you can finally meet the game’s starter Pokémon — Sprigatito, Quaxly and Fuecoco — in a Dance Parade, alongside familiar favourites like Pikachu, Piplup, and Snorlax.
Do note that the parade, which will only be available at Jurong Point and AMK Hub, is free, but you’ll have to spend S$30 for a photo pass, that can be redeemed an hour before the show.
There’s also an activity hub in all three malls, where you can make your very own Pokémon badges and window cling art by spending S$30 in a single receipt.
Pick up exclusive Scarlet & Violet merch at the Pokémon Center pop-up store, with cute accessories featuring the three starters. If you can’t get enough of the classics, bring home a Charmander or Squirtle plushie, and other adorable merch. The pop-up store will only be available at Jurong Point, so Westies, you’re in luck.
Learn how to play the wildly popular Pokémon Trading Card Game (from 2 Dec), with free trading card packs for the first 1000 customers per mall. The 30-minute free session will teach eager fans the basics of the game, so you can continue the fun with friends and family!
For those interested in trying out Scarlet & Violet, there are game demo booths where you can experience the game on the Nintendo Switch. It’s the first Pokémon game to use an open-world RPG concept, so you’re definitely in for a fun time!
The fun continues with Ga-Ole machines, carnival games, a giant Pokémon-themed Christmas tree, and even a two-metre-tall inflatable Pikachu – it’s every Pokémon fan’s dream! Whether you’re a longtime fan or a casual enjoyer, there’s something for everyone.
