We all know that Bangkok is a popular travel destination because of its vibrant nightlife and laid back atmosphere with way too many night markets, shopping malls, and trendy cafes to keep track of.
While it’s fun to indulge in some retail therapy or street fare, it’s also important to take a step back and relax (it is your holiday after all).
That being said, here’s a unique pocket-friendly activity to save for your next visit to the +66.

Such A Small World is Thailand’s first co-playing cafe and a go-to place for people who are looking to relax, game, and soak in chill vibes.
For those who have never heard of them before, they essentially offer a variety of “pod” rooms catered to different group sizes with tons of activities to try out.

If you’re looking for a chill couple activity, consider renting the Bug Life (S$11.05, 300 baht) or Mario (S$16.58, 450 baht) pod for an hour. Both rooms feature a cosy setup with a plush sofa, tables, and a television that’ll make you feel right at home.

For travellers coming in larger groups, opt for It’s a Third Date (S$22.10, 600 baht for an hour) or Dreamville (S$29.47, 800 baht for an hour) that can easily accommodate at least four to eight people.
It’s certainly a nice place to unwind or cool down at after spending the entire day shopping and walking around.

Besides that, every room is equipped with a Playstation 5, Nintendo, board games, and a record player.
You can expect to find a variety of console games like Street Fighter, Mario Kart, and Overcooked to keep yourself entertained.
Otherwise, there are board games like Exploding Kitten and Klask if you’re feeling competitive.

Not in the mood for games?
They also have one of the largest vinyl libraries in Thailand so you can take your time to slowly browse through and pick out your favourite vinyl record.
You’ll be spoiled for choice as their extensive collection boasts music from popular musicians like Elvis Presley, David Bowie, and Elton John.

After you’ve picked out your tunes, you can choose to either unwind at your pod or at their dedicated music corner with plenty of seating space.
All I know is that both spots look equally cosy for you to comfortably enjoy the tunes.

If you get hungry, you can order hot food, drinks, or light snacks to your pods without even leaving the space. Treat yourself to a Hot Chocolate (S$5.15, 140 baht) or Dirty Matcha (S$6.63, 180 baht) alongside a slice of cheesecake or cookie.
Be it a solo activity, couple’s date or group hangout, it sounds like the perfect place for a peaceful retreat to get entertainment and food all in one place. So, the next time you’re heading down to Bangkok, you know where to go!
