Formerly a home-based business, The Only Burger is a Muslim-owned burger joint that doles out big, bold, and bodacious burgers that come in 10 options, with beef, chicken, or fish.
It seems as though everyone heads straight for the signature Oklahoma Beef (from $9.50), comprising a T.O.B beef patty, double sliced cheese, tomato, red cabbage, battered fried onions, and an special 3 Type Housemade Sauce.
If you’re feeling extra indulgent, The Spicy Chicken (from S$9.10) stars a whole deep-fried chicken thigh with tomato, lettuce, spicy sauce, and garlic mayo — now that sounds like something I’d gladly sink my teeth into.
The Fish Burger (from S$8.80) is another classic, consisting of battered white fish, sliced cheese, lettuce, and tartar sauce, ideal for those seeking an alternative to a certain fast food chain.
The best part? All burgers can be made into a Double, and bulked up with Fries (+S$1.40), or Fries and 2pcs Tenders (+S$2.10). You can even upgrade ’em to Spicy Fries or 6pcs Onion Rings for just S$0.50. I’m absolutely loving the flexibility.
Non-burger options include the likes of Chicken Cutlet (from S$7.90), Chicken Wing (from S$5.50), and Battered Fish (from S$8.90) with your choice of rice, fries, or pasta. Make it a full meal with sides like Calamari (S$7.90), Spicy Chicken Nuggets (S$5.80), and Cheese Stick (S$3.40) — you’ve got a wide array to choose from.
